Wi

tj_farmer - 12/18/2013 22:57 ive got an electric pump and a shuttle, maybe im lucky with my deere's systems, but i think the def is a pain in the ass, (running 2 quad's) a sight gauge so you can fill the tank to the top in the dark with a flashlight would be a great start.

Auto shut off nozzle? you are not supposed to be able to fill the tanks plump full, they have to have room for expansion when the DEF freezes. They should read full on a properly calibrated gauge but there will be air space in them. On our older Agco DT275B it was a simple ball float that plugged the spout when it was full, not sure what other OEM's use.
