Dumb question but is the hydraulic oil cooled anywhere with motor coolant? Normal hydraulic cooler are air coolers but,,,,,,,, Any chance a vent plug is out allowing for rain water to drain in? Another dumb question, are you getting the oil hot enough to boil off any residual moisture? Also, when oil cools it will draw air in through the vent cap if the humidity is high you are drawing wet air in and if you don't get the oil hot enough the water will not vaporize.

Just some thoughts.......
