Subject: RE: Water Softener Prob

Caraway, AR

The rest of the story:A drip system adds a 3% bleach solution straight in to the well as needed for hydrogen sulfide smell.

Then water  is pumped through a Pyrolox fleck 7000 Iron, Manganese, Sulfer filter. Back flushes every 3 days.

Then through the whirlpool water softener, and finally through a whole house water filter.

The system is 4 yrs old.

I assume the softener would need tobe  disconnected to be rinsed with the acid?

Thanks,

John
