I have 10,500 hours on my 1086 Its been rebuilt but considering the work it's done, I can't complain. If you are used to it, the doors and shifting is not an issue. I also like the large fuel tank on an '86. Compared to the 1066, I'd take a 1086 any day. At least you can hear at the end of the day.
