If you found one you like, go for it. Lot of shared parts there. The wet brakes on my 1086 seem to be the biggest advantage over the neighbors 1066. The dry brakes wear out and need to be replaced more often. Some of the 1086's had PFC hydraulics, that may be a feature worth holding out for.
