The Edge and Integra will count area the same. The only difference has already been mentioned, Autoswath. It is a $750 unlock code. All Integras have it, it's included. An Edge only has Autoswath if it has been unlocked for it.

Autoswath will make the area count more accurate, but it will still have a tendency to overcount a small amount.

When I do custom work, and I know the data will be used for billing acres, I draw a field boundary either when I cut the perimeter, or when I'm done with the field. That will give a precise area reading.
