Subject: Tru-Count air clutch, how strong are they?

E.C. IA
Tossing around the idea of adding section control to a dry fertilizer attachment on a Kinze 2600 planter, and thought of a way to use a tru-count clutch on each fert. box (covers 2 rows). The torque required would be considerably more than what it takes to drive a finger seed meter. Does anyone know how much abuse the clutch can take before failing? For example, if the fert. plugged, would the # 41 chain break before the clutch?

Also, if I used 2 clutches, one on each end of the fert. auger, (solid shaft) would they share a equal load or would one be pulling most of the load and the other just sort of freewheeling?

Thanks, Mike
