Since you want to plant/apply whatever your headlands last, then you must have a map of the field before you can start.

If I were mapping a field I would not bother trying to square any of the external corners off because as soon as you close the headland the FMX will round them anyway (at least it does with curve smoothing turned on, I'm not 100 percent, but I think it does with it turned off to) Therefore you are going to have to take hold of the steering wheel if you want to square off when planting. The important thing is that you have curve smoothing disabled, this will square off the inner boundary line for you. This line is what is going to turn your section control off.

Try making a test field in your yard and play with these things, it's the best way to learn
