My 2 cents regardless of brand.

Your sensors are looking at the ground below the boom, maybe 4-6 feet in front. The boom can only move up so fast. Assuming 120% performance, there are still going to be conditions where the boom is going to slap the ground.

Boom height control IS NOT a replacement for properly operating your machinery. It is however, a great tool for reducing fatigue and making operating a sprayer much easier. But there are times that the only thing that is going to get your booms up fast enough is the operator raising the booms well in advance to driving through the terrain in question.
