Subject: Trimble autopilot valve

Paxton, IL
I have the opportunity to buy a complete autopilot setup from a friend of mine who is changing systems. I'm taking the FMX and NavII for sure, but he was wondering if I wanted the valve off of the tractor. Mentally I was thinking that it would stay on and leave the tractor essentially as a "guidance ready" machine. Now I'm wondering if the valve has any value to me?

Is there any difference in the actual valve from one platform kit to another? Or are they all the same valve with different hoses and parts? This is coming off a Challenger MT855C. I don't have anything like that around, but do have a couple non-guidance ready Case IH MX magnums that i might be interested in putting this on. If the valve would work, maybe I should take it as well and piece together what else I might need?
