Have a iPhone 5s and iPad 4th gen. Both have the lightning bolt charger which is what I love.otterbox on phone and soon to have gumdrop case on iPad. Dad has a iPad 3rd gen, with gumdrop case for FieldView. Like others said, everything syncs seamlessly. Very happy with my apple products!
