SC Wisconsin | You pulled some good numbers out of that hat. This is land that will raise solid corn on a good year - 220+ pretty easily. Well tiled, lots of 90+ CSR soil types. And I wasn't clear - this is owned land now, so no issues with LL. The crop removal numbers I calculated were pretty much in line with yours - around 120 lbs for removal. I just wasn't sure on how quickly one could put it on for fertility building. The recommendation I got back was 340 lbs, including removal. That seemed high, but in reality I guess we are only talking about 30 acres where that higher application rate would be needed.
