Darigold is one of the 15 dairies on the whole West Coast that buys non-rBST milk.
Doesn't mean all milk in WA is non-rBST, the cheapest in WA Safeways is rBST milk.
I didn't talk about milk though, I said dairy. Since most consumers care more about milk than other dairy products, I'm guessing most American cheese is rBST. I don't know if there are any official stats on the percentage if rBST vs non-rBST milk in dairy products.

Does the non-rBST premium compensates the extra 10-pound of milk per cow per day that rBST would provide for you? Many dairy farmers probably don't have this luxury.
