Friend had a 3150 & said it was under powered so we went with a 3185. We do some moleboard plowing & the 3185 was underpowered when spraying it in the spring. In those conditions I would never put more than 500 gal in the tank & even then was lucky to run 6 mph till it was down to about 300 gal. Our 3185 had 75' booms. I disliked the 75' booms. They don't match up to anything. We plant with a 16x30" planter & first pass around the field was a pita unless I folded the outer wings in. Not sure who ever thought up 75' booms but they need to be shot IMO. Ours had 42" rubber, I don't think it would have had enough power for floaters.
