Correct. The flow sensor is a verticsl piston that goes up or down opening each port. The advantage is you have full pressure to each port for equal distribution.


Are you saying that the flow sensor is a vertical piston or that the flow control is a vertical piston. From what I read I assumed that a flowmeter is mounted ahead of the VDO. I'm thinking that the VDO acts as the control device not the flow measuring device. Does the VDO take the place of the motorized ball valve that other systems use or work in conjunction with one?
