And I wouldn't rate 900s at 8 miles as we have many of our towers running out 12+ with flat land and hills.
900MHz radios will transmit farther than 8mi, but your accuracy degrades the farther you go. 1cm + 1ppm is the standard equation, as you put more distance between yourself and the base. So you might be able to get signal at 12mi, or 15mi, or even 20mi, but you will not have true RTK-level accuracy. |
