You can switch your planter over to a complete Trimble system. That's the route we are leaning to. That way the 700 can control and read the entire planter.

Mixing the two systems is less than ideal. Red will blame Green, Green will blame Red.

It does "work" like Mnsidehill stated. I was having trouble with speed variations between the two that made some interesting planting VRA maps. Wouldn't shut off the seed drive when stopped for at least a second or two!

If you run into the same fun I did, a green GPS system(or whole tractor) won't solve the problem.

I'm still trying to figure a way to put a low seed level alarm on it like our case planter, I always run out at the far end of the field.
