Yep and some reports (Field summary?) have date/time built in already. Don't have SMS on this computer but I know there's at least one that has date in it already. Then once Date is on the right, you can go below the list on the right and choose to sort by one of those items which is where you'd choose Date. Otherwise, it might be sorted some other way.
