mostly true, but you can't do any performance mapping/recording without the 600/700. The 600/700 also allows you to store more end-of-row sequences, and adds the hitch notebook for saving 3pt settings for multiple implements. If you have multiple tractors, you can share settings between them using the color displays. And the color display is way easier to work with than the A-post monitor.
