just a tish NE of central ND | Defiantly a "there" thing s here all you would see is the smoke and ashes.No one here builds or ever built barns out of hardwood or oak that I have ever seen. Ruff cut green cracked up river lumber yes and you might find a little Douglas fir, but the rest is pine. About the only hardwood in structures was the trim and decks, and stairs/ handrail in the old courthouses.
