x2 on what gpsdude said. The geosteer has a GPS receiver that goes on the roof as well as controller in the cab with all the sensors and such. This can control a hydraulic steering system or OT2+ on your steering wheel. Since you already have the 2500 for the roof, you can get just the OT2+ components and steer. The geosteer is expensive because it's a hydraulic steering controller AND GPS receiver.

I have; Integra, 2500 on Omnistar G2, and On Trac 2+. Use it for planting, tillage, and some side dressing and it does quite well.
