Centralia, MO | As someone said, there is nearly as much cost in a smaller machine and it goes beyond just the things going into the machine itself. It also includes the factory tooling, the parts chain, the training of personnel, etc. If there was enough demand for the market to bear the cost, at least one manufacturer would step up. I don't think the idea of just duplicating one of the older models would fly. I would probably enjoy running a JD95 (for example) for an hour or so on a sunny day for nostalgia purposes. Beyond that you couldn't pay me to own one of those things again. | |
