Sac & Story county IA | I would question your cost of floor heat. A square foot of concrete will give off about 30 btu/hr. A foot of 1/2 inch tube gives off about 30 btu. So, 1/2 inch tube on 1 foot centers is a good match. A foot of 1/2 inch costs .25 to .60, so that is the cost under the concrete, besides insulation, which you may or may not figure, whatever heat source. You will need a heat source and pump but don't believe the guys that talk in multi thousands in cost. | |
