Geosteer has a GPS receiver and autosteer controller, it can run hyd or an Ontrac 2+. Ontrac 2+ is a mechanical steering unit that turns the wheel. It needs a GPS source such as your 2500. I have had excellent results with the Ontrac 2+ especially at 5-10 MPH. It will not acquire the line as fast as a hyd unit. However if you get it within a couple feet before engaging it works excellent.
