Nebraska | Some of you may know that SMS doesn't know what the "area off " attribute means in ISO yield data. SO, when you read in Trimble Files to SMS you get these red, Zero Yield spots in the field. Support at Agleader has been saying the only way to do away with those without manually highlighting each one and deleting is to reprossess the data with a minimum yield of .01bu/ac. That works, but when in burned up dryland, we'd be missing 20 acres of yield data that has to be explained to the crop insurance guy.
I figured out a different way today, and am kinda proud of myself actually because this has been really erking me.
Create map of the harvest map with "arteries" everywhere and for 4 miles down the road
Edit layer (will have to be set to spatial map- "points")
select tools (select via filter) red icon >=
Click add
Set attribute to "productivity" the operator is == and the value enter as zero
Hit ok then back on the query filter page hit select now and you'll see all the crazy lines highlighted.
Click ok out of there then click 'Delete selected"
Save and close. WALA!
