Central Missouri | The fed is not gonna allow interest rates to rise to any great extent. The main reason is all the interest rate derivatives ...... over 1/2 quadrillion in notional value ....... over 500 trillion ...... will implode. The banking industry is the counterparty at risk and the fed is not gonna let them implode because it will implode the financial system. That is why QE wil go on forever and will probably increase not decrease. JMO | |
