The simplest way is to just tap the vehicle arrow on the down-field guidance screen. Tapping it will start and stop the painting feature. If you have additional cables plugged into the back, you may already have a gray wire coming out that you can connect to the orange and white wire coming from the 440 console cable to make it work automatically with the master switch of the 440. If you don't have any auxiliary cables, you could buy the inexpensive boom-sense adapter (115-0171-793) and plug it into port B on the back. Again, you'd connect the orange and white wire from the 440 console cable to this. With either of the wiring options, you'd need to go in through the blue Tools button and tap on the blue Switch icon. Change the selection from Touch Screen to Hardware and hit the green check. Now it will paint green on the screen whenever you have 12 volts coming into the wire/adapter when the master switch on the 440 is turned on.
