Effingham, IL | This is an issue that affects both the GeoSteer and ParaDyme. The good news is that Ag Leader is working hard to fix the problem.
Without going into great detail, there are multiple issues which is affecting performance. These issues along with low satellite numbers at certain times of the day compounds the problem. With that said, I'm confident Ag Leader will fix the problem.
As far as using an external modem... if you are experiencing cellular disconnects resulting in frequent PRL changes and/or powerdowns, an external modem will help greatly. If however you are experiencing slow re-convergence times, an external modem won't help much in that situation.
