Subject: Re: JD SF 2 adaptive curve

Are you able to "stop" recording? That would be the way you would change your tracking method. Assuming since it isn't letting you change tracking method its still probably graying out client/ farm/ field? If not, then I'd try changing field names and then changing back to the one you are in, sometimes that will cause it to quit hanging up. Otherwise, like you said, you're stuck doing a cold boot. As far as removing the "existing adaptive curves" that have been recorded for a 2600: Main menu > GS2 > Guidance > Guidance settings tab > Curved track settings > Clear adaptive curves data. For a 2630: while adaptive curves is selected as tracking method, go into main menu > GS3 > Guidance > and in bottom left hand corner there is a "current curve" drop down menu. In that drop down you can either create a new curve, or do a list clean up. If there is only one curve name defined you will need to create a new curve name. Then go into list clean up, check mark the curve name that you want to delete and that will get rid of the existing adaptive cure data. Keep in mind, if you haven't been defining new curve names for each field then doing this will delete ALL existing adaptive curve data. Hope this helps some.
