Thud - 11/19/2013 17:45 Newer home? Maybe the structure is settling , framing drying out and contracting, wouldn't take much movement to tweak a mirror enough to break it. 25 years old. But new 48" mirror installed last spring as part of a bathroom remodel. I think the wrong clips were used which put tension on the glass with slight variations in the wall studs making an uneven mounting surface. Possibly the change in humidity and temperature going into November made enough movement of the walls studs to stress the glass. |
