This is what works for me, verbatim from tech support at Ag Leader.  Attached below is the global.ver file.  Ben
 
To export your data out of apex in the format your Deere display recorded it you can go to Unload at the top, Manage Archive on the left, put a check in each box next to the data you want exported out, and then click on Export on the right. If it is GS2 data it will create a folder named by a date and inside that folder will be an RCD folder. That global.ver file will need to be placed inside of RCD. If it is GS3 data it will also create a folder named by a date. In the date folder will be a GS3_2630 folder, and then a profile name folder, then an RCD folder, and finally an EIC folder. The global.ver file will need to be placed in the EIC folder.
