Subject: RUN LIKE HELL FROM IT!!!!

Southeast Florida
Back before it got the deal I have now I was looking at a 8940 2WD CASE-IH. The tractor was cheap $15,000. I was interested in it vaguely but even at 15k I didn’t have much being it was a 2 wd because around here you just about have to tape a $5 bill to the hood to sell one. The seller contacted me via email from tractor house when I responded about it. The tractor was supposed to be in Hungary. I asked for the s/n because I was leery before that but after I ran the s/n at the local dealer to see if I could even get parts. The s/n that I was provided turn out to be a 8940 FWD that was taken in on trade at a dealership in Iowa and was in the shop there. I told the owner of the dealer that somebody was trying to sell this tractor to me on tractor house. I dropped it after that but a month or 2 later a tractor showed up here at the local dealer that was a carbon copy of the one I was looking at on tractor house; it even had the same amount of weights missing from one side of the front weight rack. This is when I really was glad that I dropped the whole thing and never looked back.
