Subject: Re: Data on cards after calibration??

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
When the data is read into SMS, the summary data and the raw point by point data are both read in as well as the current calibrations values (C values etc.). SMS uses the point by point data and computes the yield itself based on the calibration. If a new calibration is introduced SMS can figure the yield based on the newest calibration or an older calibration.

Sometimes it is desirable to have all yields computed with the most current calibrations other, times not. If the latest calibrations are a more accurate picture of the entire harvest then the latest calibration would be desirable. On the other hand an "old" calibration might be more suitable for the first part of the season and a newer one more suitable for the later part of the season.
