Yes the Ipad AIR will work with fieldview and the fieldview II module now come with an USB port on it so that you can use the cable that is needed to plug into your iPad whether that be a 30 pin or 8 pin (lighting plug). One downside to the new iPad AIR is that the gumdrop case that comes with the fieldview kit will not fit just FYI
