Midwest | Using older software works fine if you continue using old files and monitors. If the monitors or files get updated (and changes are made) then that old computer software back at home may not know what to do with it. It's always recommended to keep your desktop software as new or newer than the monitors you're running in your machines since you can always read "old" data. It can't always read data newer than itself if changes were made since it came out.
I'm not disagreeing that you pay a lot for equipment, everyone does, just seeing things from the computer side. I agree with what Torn said for trying ways to get it to read in. What version is the 700 at? | |
