DON'T change rates just because you can.

DO change rates when it makes agronomic sense.

DON'T set up prescriptions that your equipment can't handle (i.e. making grids smaller than your drive sections, or changing rates faster than your drive motor can keep up)

DO make sure you know what you're doing (i.e. understanding relationships between soil types, yields, nutrient levels, etc.), or you're just wasting time and energy.

DON'T let the fancy technological capabilities overshadow the basics (spacing, depth, seed to soil contact, timing, etc.)
