I had a chance to demo the 4412 today on our farm. We own a 3400 series cornhead and have to say were very impressed with the new head. Our dealer brought us out a drago 3 weeks ago to demo and we refused to give it up and have been using it ever since. The amount of trash the 3408 takes through the combine and the horrible shelling became even more evident after running the drago. we could run 1.5 mph faster and could find very little corn on the ground. The 4412 is very comparable to the drago as far as the amount of trash going into the head. It is minimal. As far as shelling, i think the drago still has the 4400 beat. I closed the deck plates as far as i could to still get the stalks thru and even slowed up the feederhouse but still was finding corn on the ground behind the head. It appears to be a very well built head and is a vast improvement over the 3400, but i think we're going to end up ordering a drago for next year
