| one possibility is a 276 engine from a 2640-- this takes some engineering but is a stronger engine than the original 270.first you need the front pump mount and flywheel housing from a 4030--this makes it possible to bolt up to the waterloo rear end--next you have to do some cutting and pieceing and plating on the back side to build frame rails to make the changeover work--a lot of work yes but a very good setup when completed and turboable if you wish. good luck | |
