Coles County, Illinois | Parts book shows gear drive but I've never seen one. You'll really like a hydro though. Same thing with the reverser and variable speed. You'll eventually want a wider head but I run a 915F. For a couple years a 13 will get the job done. A standard grain tank is around 160 bu capacity. I have an extension and can hold a little over 200 bushels. I'll use that extra capacity in corn but in soybeans I avoid carrying all that weight around. The grain tank loading auger is a high wear item. Using the extra capacity really wears out the upper foot quickly and if the flighting collapses would turn a relatively inexpensive repair into a costly one. | |
