Subject: Re: 2013 kinze imp switchs

Missouri
On 3600/3660 planters, when an operator straddles terrace tops, or plants over them, I have seen a benefit to moving them to the row units in between the frame wheels. With a sufficiently long extension cable, one could conceivably mount them almost anywhere they sense iron when the planter is down, but not when it is up (much like the old Ag Leader whisker switches). I've seen those switches mounted in many a creative places, but none of them that gave more consistent operation than on the row units.

What problem have you been experiencing?
