North west MN | It does log the elevation data but the 2.0 version of firmware didn't log enough point to make it accurate enough to use for drainage. I haven't looked at the data from the newest version 3.0 yet to see if it is useable. You would need an rtk 500 to make it accurate. Your best bet would be an rtk reciver of some kind like a 500 or 252 and hook it to a laptop computer and log the elevation using a program from GK Tech called ag data viewer http://www.geektechforag.com/Pages/AgDataViewer.htm
