| You are wrong about that. Unless it is concentrated, like a dairy or feedlot, there are no rules yet (it is coming) in California. They have to have an approved plan to get rid of manure. That requires enough farmed acres or sales of manure to comply.
My guess is that the horse manure has a lot of junk mixed with it. We are wary of spreading horse manure because of that. For whatever reason, a lot of horse owners treat the manure pile as a dump site. Pieces of concrete large enough to do serious damage to our equipment are common. | |
