MD
Manure can no longer be applied in MD in the fall or winter if it is stackable. Therefore, conical piles of poultry manure are sometimes made in fields, in this area, as poultry houses are cleaned out this time of year. The stacked manure will be spread ahead of corn crops in the spring.

I sure hope these piles do not interfere with this hunter's recreation. Sure wish more hunters would work on the exploding deer and geese populations here, or we may have to stockpile manure from those animals too, along with all the crap coming from Annapolis.
