Jacob,

Thank you for your valuable input as usual.

As we are no-longer under the radar of our competitors, it won't hurt to get the record straight on a few matters.

Given the pace at which the mojoRTK development team is releasing new kits and enhancements, it is probably the time to give a summary of mojoRTK capabilities and future release options. It is clear that not everyone understands that mojoRTK will continue to be enhanced and new Leica Ag products added as our investment continues. I would like to assure you and the readers that we have considered many more than 4 possible configurations for mojoRTK.

Supported Steering Kits
=====================
- Electro Hydraulic factory installed kit - Done (CAN EH on Challenger MT's, Fendt, Deere 30 series, some Deere 20 series); [2008] (full AGCO range, older Deere CCDBUS range)
- Universal kits - Done (EZ-Steer, Deere ATU 1&2)
- Retro-fit hydraulic steering kits - Done (BEELINE, Ag-guide, Hemisphere E-Drive); [2008](Trimble/CNH all models, Deere 00, 10, 20s)
- Self-propelled sprayers and harvesters are included of course per the steering kit manufacturers' catalog's.

Steering Accuracy
================
- RTK Engine +/-1.4", 16 miles from the base station; +/-0.65", 4 miles from the base station @ 68% (see http://www.mojortk.com/leica-web/app/content/public/content11946387...)
- Ground accuracy within +/-2", 99% of the time (depending on the steer kit quality, terrain and work done)
- Full GLONASS support available now. (more satellites = more reliability)
- Future capability for SBAS decimeter and L1 optimized sub-meter accuracy (lower accuracy than RTK)
- Future capability for extra GNSS channels including Galileo. (more satellites = more reliability)

Service & Support
================
- [2008] Virtual Wrench enhancements for Premium Resellers.
- [2008] Enhanced customer web access to virtual wrench database.

Mapping Support
==============
- NMEA output in both raw GPS and a new terrain compensated NMEA output. (supports mapping in Insight, GS2, Rinex, Raven and any other screen/controller capable of receiving NMEA inputs) see http://www.mojortk.com/leica-web/app/content/guides/content12037256... - you will need to log-in to view the 'how to' guides.
- [2008] Leica is working with Rinex to provide a completely integrated field mapping solution for mojoRTK on the 8" color GA8500 touchscreen http://www.rinex.com.au/

Guidance Enhancements
=====================
- mojoRTK AB line storage including 'heading' storage due by the end of quarter 2, 2008.
- [2008] Pivot, contour and replay modes coming with Rinex GA8500 screen.

RTK Networks (current)
=====================
- mojoRTK base converts from a portable unit to a network base station unit by removing the GPS antenna. Internal batteries become the mains back-up power supply. (10hrs) Leica resellers will begin deploying their own Leica networks in 2008 with a 16 mile single point GNSS baseline radius.
- Supports Trimble, Leica or any other CORS network that transmits CMR, CMR+ or RTCM2 RTK corrections
- Supports Trimble SiteNet450 or 900 data radios for RTK network access.
- Supports RTCM 3.x CORS network corrections. This is the future of networks. http://www.leica-geosystems.com/corporate/en/products/gps_systems/l...
- [2008] support of DOT CORS corrections via internal CDMA or GSM modem on Leica monthly data plans. mojoRTK is DOT CORS ready.

Beyond Guidance in 2008-9
========================
- Integrated RINEX boom section control
- Integrated application and field management via RINEX
- Integrated 3D web-based field data and back-office data management.

I hope this helps get all the information in one place - from one source - so there is no misunderstanding about Leica and mojoRTK capabilities.

Cheers

John Hill
(Leica, if you haven't guessed)
