Always thought of henbit and chickweed as free cover crops before soybeans, but given the marestail problems in our area, I am struggling with the best time to kill it. I read where the marestail is fairly easy to kill early in the spring, so thinking of maybe spraying around the first of April rather than shooting for April 20 like I have been doing. Love to hear from someone with experience doing this.
