Iowa | A unit of soil can only produce a finite amount of dry matter and I want all of that dry matter to be the intended crop. Anything else out there reduces the amount of crop that I can profit from.
Regretfully I didn't complete my Masters, but I took a graduate course on this subject, and that was how it was explained to us. Plant as thick and uniform as it takes to maximize production, and then ANY weeds at all reduce the amount of production. | |
