For me, by the way, weeds are bad in my opinion, because of the nutrients they use, and also with certain crops like canola, cleavers etc. are unacceptable, due to downgrading factors etc...

We have more than enough moisture to go around to anything that grows here: Drought is not in my vocabulary. So in areas where weeds are competitive, it harms the crop due to the smothering, nutrient robbing, not a moisture issue.

In crop: Remove the weeds. But if a crop is not growing, I think long and hard before I panic.
