North Central Indiana | I got the book "Weeds and how they grow" off of Amazon. It is a great read. It tells which weeds will grow under certain conditions. We plant various cover crops but I depend on chickweed every year to cover several fields of rolling sand during the winter. It is green all winter and is converting sunlight into nutrients while some other cover crops are dead. It does a great job holding the soil in place and earthworms love it when it dies!! | |
