Central Ontario | Had to much 8.3 oil pump experience lately.The pump is above the centre line of the crank,the suck tube bolts to the block at the level of the oil pan.The pump is removable on a 2366 by taking off the fan ,pulleys ,balancer and then the gear cover.Had to remove engine to work on suck tube.Make sure you install the suck tube gasket the right way up, enough said.Had a challenge sealing up the gear cover,I would buy the recomended sealer.If I had the engine out I would get someone who should know to look at the bearings. | |
