jackson county WI | When uncle had it cows where always holding there nose against water pipes or drinking cups in barn. Lot of cripple non breeding cows and yes they would wither away. Was sad watching such a nice herd disapate, just about broke him! Put a equal potential plain in barn. Reduced stray voltage to where they can't find readings. Still see a cow now and then holding her nose on drinking cup, i believe it still there but it is minimized. Seems to be manageable at least. Took 15 years to get herd back to where it was. There is a lot of info out there on it some of it very good and some is a crock. Find a good expert! Good luck | |
